Statement of Faith

I.        We believe in the one true God who exists in three persons - - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

II.       We believe in the total, word for word inspiration of the sixty-six books of the Holy Bible, which is the revelation of God without error.

III.      We believe that Jesus Christ is equal with and the same as God. We accept his virginn birth, his sinless life as a human, his substitutionary death, his bodily resurrection, his ascension to heaven and his coming again in person.

IV.     We believe that salvation is soley by grace through faith in Christ without works.

V.      We believe that the given blood of Jesus Christ has the power to completely cleanse all who come to God through him.

VI.     We believe that good works are necessary after salvation to express gratitude to God and to discover what the will of God is.

VII.    We believe in the future resurrection of the body. Believers in Christ, in a glorified state, will live forever in a literal heaven. All who reject  Christ will suffer eternal punishment in a literal lake of fire.

VIII.   We believe that all true believers, reguardless of color, sex, race or standing make up the one true church, the body of Christ. We also emphasize the need of all believers to regularly attend and support a Bible believing congregation.

IX.    We believe that all believers need to " grow in grace " daily. This done through Bible study and prayer.

X.     We believe in Evangelism, beginning at home and spreading abroad, in obedience to Christ's Great Commission. Follow up is also necessary to instruct new believers in the truths of God's Word.

XI.    We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ could come at any moment to take his church unto himself and to establish his kingdom on earth.

What we believe is extremely important !!   We MUST faithfully hold to and protect the points of our faith that are founded upon the scriptures. Anything that deviates from the truth of the Bible, we MUST reject as false - - heresy.

" Be not carried about with diverse ( different ) and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace. "   ( Hebrews  13 : 9 )
